It has not been confirmed by any credible source that Bennie Bivins currently has a girlfriend.
The rumor that Love Island bombshell, Bennie Bivins, 24, has a girlfriend outside the villa has been denied by his mother, Jessica Ravelo.
The story kicked off when Love Island fans speculated that Victoria was Bennie’s current girlfriend based on these comments below her Instagram photo.
Fans insinuated Victoria is still close with Bennie’s mother because she calls her «momma» in her response. Evidence of their close relationship has indicated to fans that Bennie may still be in a romantic relationship with Victoria.
We reached out to Bennie’s mother to verify the claim. She informed us that Victoria is one of Bennie’s ex-girlfriends and they still maintain a relationship as family friends.
In the full version of this conversation, Jessica also says they live in the same area with her daughter. They also know each other from high school.
After we posted the screenshot of Jessica’s denial on Twitter, fans further verified their speculation with photos from Bennie’s and Victoria’s Instagram pages.
The images may suggest Bennie and Victoria were in a romantic relationship shortly before Bennie entered the Love Island villa. In both sets of photos they are in the same location and the dates show their contact was only two to three months prior to Bennie’s debut episode.
There are also photos on Victoria’s Instagram account that document her romantic relationship with Bennie from years ago. She has made her account private since we reached out about the rumor.
A Love Island fan has spoken up and said they encountered Bennie and Victoria at a water show in Las Vegas.
In that Twitter thread there is also a video the person created while they were at the show as proof. This directly relates to the photos of Bennie and Victoria at Caesars Palace together nearly two months ago.
Since this rumor has gained traction, Bennie’s mother posted her response to the drama.
This shows that Bennie quarantined for two weeks before appearing on the show. He left for Love Island in September. The photos we indicated are dated in late July and early August. Fans are having a hard time believing that Bennie broke up with his girlfriend one month before the show, or better yet that he broke up with her at all.
Jessica’s post also explains her very close relationship to Bennie, so she is credible to speak about his past. To her knowledge, Bennie and Victoria are friends.
Some fans have suggested that Bennie’s family is denying the rumors because they want him to be on television. Regardless of this notion, we shouldn’t send any hate to Momma Bennie. She was brave to speak for him and it is understandable that she holds her son’s best interest.
