Season 5, Episode 3 Review

The Lady in Red (Thug Lidia) strikes again!! Carlos is not the villain. Lidia has caught him… again.

She has pained him
Abandoned him
and left him for dead 
without love...
or a reason for life

In this episode Carlos admitted he walked into a bar looking for trouble on the same night Lidia left the break up letter. Someone punctured Carlos’s lung during a bar fight and left an ugly scar on his back. It was a physical symbol of Lidia’s betrayal when she took Eva.

How can she blame Carlos for being a poor father, when she left him for another man and another life in New York?

Lidia broke Carlos. And now Spain has become a part of the damage with Colonel Cifuentes at the head. And we know an ugly Carlos from season 2 of Cable Girls, when he hated Lidia. Now that Carlos can be mean, but he’s not a thug.

However, Thug Lidia caught Carlos on the phone trying to get the negatives. What does she expect?! He has his own life too! Of course, our Lady in Red has mastered the art of whispering on the phone, so Carlos didn’t overhear her speaking to her friends.

Other Plot Points

• Sofia an attacker who attempted to rape her
• Carlota and Oscar make a deal to give fake news to one of the bosses
• Marga is pregnant! (flashback to when she was a virgin, then had sex probs with Pablo. lol)
• Pablo tried to desert but he was caught by his twin, Julio, at gun point who is also fighting for the other side.

At this point it seems like Sofia is very determined to fight in the war. Although I don’t like Lidia anymore, I still hope the Cable Girls stop Sofia from hurting herself.
