Maurice was supposed to be a surprise islander; 9Now accidentally released his profile on their website.  He’ll probably couple with Jessie. 

This prediction is based primarily on looks.  Hopefully we get some genuine relationships, even if they’re platonic.  Frankly, Love Island has fewer deep connections and more superficial fondness. Since watching season one, it seems the best looking islanders win.  Personality definitely enhances the islander but that’s secondary. If they look better, they’re more likely to be popular and more powerful on the island.  

I have been updating the Villa Power rankings on my Twitter account. I tells who I think the most powerful or influential couple are in relation to each other.  

My predictions are strongly based on the idea that the islanders will be most attracted to whoever looks like them.  

According to pre-premiere information, everyone seems to have likeable qualities but we know how Love Island works.  People don’t always go for their type on paper and sometimes leave boxes unticked.    

Last year’s winners were Tayla Damir and Grant Crapp.  They are now broken up but were arguably the most attractive couple and confirmed most popular.  

The guys on the show commented that Tayla was the best looking girl.  Grant was also an attractive favorite for his looks and attitude, but he was more desirable because Cassidy wanted him.  Grant also had a few heroic moments because Cassidy played the villain. I think personality is a more valuable factor for the viewers.  If the islanders are more likable and have an appealing story-line, we vote in their favor.   

Of course, it is way too early to predict the couples.  We can’t anticipate which guy is going to enter first or if any girl is going to step forward for him.  Not to mention we could get some surprise islanders at any moment as the season continues.
