The first season of Love Island South Africa is disorganized due to the following reasons:
- They kept the promotional content secret rather than using it to build hype for the premiere.
- The released the cast photo on the same day as the premiere.
- It didn’t meet the expectations of international and national fans
- The cast lacked diversity in multiple forms. (i.e. race, body type, ethnicity, etc.)
- They didn’t select a Black woman to host the show
- No one is running the islanders’ social media pages.
