Carlos didn’t deserve to die!

The writers should have given him a happy ending with Lidia and Eva. It’ll always be Carlida/Lidlos for me! But if I’m being very honest with myself, Alba and Francisco are the better match. They were childhood sweethearts who reunited. They never lost love for each other. And they’re both survivors. I’m not sure if Carlos would have flown from America to save Lidia or if he would have stayed home as he waiting husband.

Regardless, Carlos didn’t die as a poltroon. He regained his integrity…. war sucks.

Surviving and living your life like it’s your own is something Sofia and Felipe already know. He loves Sofia but he’s going to continue to help the war. Now Sofia knows her role is done and it’s not her place to chase him. She’ll probably need to save Lidia with Francisco.

Marga… my oh my.. Marga was going crazy in this episode!! Who else thought she was going to pull the trigger? They wouldn’t let her bury fake Pablo…. war sucks.

Marga was finally saying everything she was thinking and standing up to the people who dared to deny her. She didn’t need anyone to hold her hand anymore. She’s a fully realized woman. I love her quiet courage and steady strength. The way Julio and Pablo appeared was kind of corny, but I’m glad they reunited. Parga/Mablo forever.

Now… Oscar… that was so humiliating. I hated that he had to remove his shirt in front of those men. And the leader attempted to strip him of his identity. His name isn’t Sara. It’s Oscar! I’m not sure if I completely understand his crisis, but that mirror scene hurt me. It’s like he hates the body he is in. He wants the world to accept him and see him as he sees himself.

Carlota is going to Germany with James. Hopefully, she will bid Oscar farewell. In my previous review I shared happiness about Carlota’s growth. In the coming episodes we need Oscar to get closure.

Finally, Lidia is with her worst enemy. Dona Carmen, who is of course the warden of the women’s prison. The new question is, how will Lidia defeat her? My guess is death.

Let’s go!!! Part 2 is going to feel empty without Carlos but we need to know how this ends. We’ve been through so much with the Cable Girls since 2017. Please comment your final predictions.
