Carlos Got Hard

Season 5, Episode 1 Review

Carlos’s revenge will leave you damned. He’s worse than a woman scorned.

I’ll bet he gets that from his mother Carmen, who once called him a poltroon in Season 4. Oh, how the hats have been switched. Lidia is no longer the woman giving orders. She is the damsel in distress and Carlos wields all the power as Colonel of the Republicans.

Lidia thought she would command Madrid again as the woman in red. This time, her wits and charm were misplaced. She only has the blind loyalty of her Cable Girls… but she’s an outcast among them because she was away from their world for so long.

I’m glad. It’s about time Lidia gets rejected. She abandoned my darling Carlos and took his baby! Lidia deserves the hurt she gives and I’m glad Carlos is dishing it. Let’s not forget she plans to return to her bed in New York with Carlos’s ex-best friend, Francisco.

Lidia was ridiculous to think Carlos would want to help her. Our soft boy family man has made a full transition to hot boss. Carlos is cold and he doesn’t owe anything to Lidia. Never go back to what broke you.

Lidia needs to get over the fact that Carlos has learned a thing or two from her. He can be a man too. And now he’s a better gangster than her with a bigger army fighting for a greater cause.

I’m still rooting for Lidlos, but Lidia needs to appreciate my Cifuentes man.
